Now referred as the legacy network or the “swamp” as one customer has called it, this still underpins many of the services hosted within organisations even though applications are being transformed to the cloud. Through the adoption of cloud networks, customers are expecting the capabilities from the cloud now within the data centre network. Etage believes networking with programmability at the foundation provides these composable networks within their own environments, unifying the siloed split of cloud and infrastructure teams. Utilising this capability whether deploying new networks or enhancing the current operations, Etage has a repository of runbooks to enhance the efficiency of common tasks for customers.

With the services deployed, connectivity is required to consume these, whether from an office or remote locations accessing these resources through a secure method is key. Protecting users accessing these services or from other users within these locations, by having the ability to identify and then authenticate the access onto the network is critical.
